#ThrowbackThursday Open Shelves

One of my favorite projects from our first home was when we decided to demo the kitchen cabinets and replace with open shelving.  Practical, beautiful, and inexpensive. Yes, they were a must-have then, and you’ll be seeing them here in our new house soon too.

So, for my second edition of #throwbackthursday I thought it would be fun to take a walk down memory lane and check out the before and afters from our first home’s kitchen reno:

More pictures of this renovation and all of our old house’s before and after pictures can still be found on my old blog: www.naptimenovelties.BlogSpot.com.  I still love the look and feel of open shelves and would recommend this option to anyone looking to add a little charm to your kitchen.  A full review of the pros (and cons) coming soon!

  1. What did you ever do with that table that you used for the old kitchen island? Did you leave it at the house when you sold it?
