Pinspiration Monday: A Progress Report
I’m interrupting my regularly scheduled pinspiration Monday series with an update on my last few: Flower boxes and screen door are installed, and guess what!? I’m giddy as I write this: A pergola is underway in our back yard. My heart is pounding, I’m so excited. Still on the to-do list: Find one more flower to add height to my planters, plant a few boxwood bushes under the window boxes, paint/stain the screen door, and new to the list: paint bar for Pergola. Ok this perma-grin is too much. Here are a few pics of said progress:
Looks like I need to “dust” off the shelves (just noticing this now – apparently I need more coffee!) Full tutorial and source list will be up on the blog later this week. I’m off to the paint cabinet to find some stain or paint for that screen but before I go…Look what’s blooming! I have been asked where this blog got it’s name, well guys – here she is in all her glory:
We have a huge, I mean HUGE blueberry bush on the side of our yard. I have the fondest memories of picking buckets of blueberries to make muffins, pies, pancakes…. you name it. From the look of it, we’re going to have our work cut out for us this year. Lucky for me I have three great pickers 🙂
