Get inspired by a new Instagram Series #DIYwithBlueberryHill

I love Instagram. Not only do you have access to hundreds of thousands of people with similar likes and ideas… but you can also interact with them and in some instances form friendships.  In the past two years, I’ve done just that and I’m excited to start a new series to meet more of you and best yet, be inspired by all of your talent!

I asked friends to share their DIYs with me this week – and I was blown away at the responses!  Check these talented DIYers out:

Isn’t this kitchen island amazing?  It’s by @gritantiques on Instagram and let me tell you, her style and eye for design is right on point. I love that they made this island out of a found crate when they couldn’t find exactly what they were looking for.  What’s even better? On the other side, she installed sliding barn doors!  Go check her out if you don’t already follow along.  You’ll be so glad you did.  She also has an online antique shop where you can bring some of her goodies and finds home with you!

Next up is a Habitat for Humanity Restore rescue by @theeveningshade:

A little paint and some adorable vintage inspired knobs and this old piece took on a whole new life!

Love the dark color contrast next to your light walls!  Fantastic work!

Next up?  A repurposed vintage heater turned lamp! @pa_loftet I’m so impressed with this upcycled masterpiece.

I love the retro feeling this piece gives to the room – and you know that I love when something can be repurposed!  I’ll have to put this on my bucket list to try.

This next feature is so fun – I’ve been obsessed lately with anything macramé…and these are totally calling my name:

I can see these draping over my mantle, or perhaps as an accept to my pallet wine rack… oh the possibilities are endless!  @wickandfiber I’m loving your pieces. You can check her online shop here: www.wickandfiber.etsy.com

Last but not least is a long time Instagram friend of mine, Chris @Chrisbelcher4.  She took a regular old ho-hum linoleum floor and turned it into a beautiful masterpiece!  I love this stencil and how the black and white pop next to her DIY barn doors!  And don’t even get me started on that mint door…swoonging over here Chris…. You know how I love painted doors 🙂

A huge thank you to all of you, for participating in this week’s hashtag #DIYwithBlueberryHill.  I hope you’ll play along again next week!  I’m feeling very inspired to get going on a project or two over the weekend.
