A New (WASHABLE) Rug for the Farmhouse Kitchen

*This is a sponsored post brought to you by Ruggable.com.  All opinions are 100% my own.

I was surfing the good old internet the other day to find a rug for under my sink.  Something pretty, cozy on my barefoot toes and thin enough to clear the trash compactor were the few stipulations on this mama’s list… and that’s when I stumbled upon ruggable.com.  Truth be told, my jaw dropped when I read the headline for their “Washable rugs.”  Oh yes. This, my friends, is speaking my language.  Under the sink, right by the dishwasher AND trash, is a death sentence for  anything with shag or un-washable.  So? I gave it a try.  Yesterday the package arrived and I couldn’t wait to get it on our oh-so-cold floors.  First, I unwrapped the black nonslip, Velcro-like base.  Once unrolled you’re ready to apply the top rug.  Probably thirty seconds later I was won over.  Completely.  Super skinny so it doesn’t conflict with my compactor and yet, it’s really soft and gives enough to be cushy underfoot.  So far?  So good.  It’s already taken a beating with three little ones constantly hopping up to the kitchen sink to wash their hands and I’ll happily report it’s holding up really well.  I’ll be tuning back in after its first time through the washer and dryer, so stay tuned for a part two to this post.  I can’t help but put this on my must-buy list for the kiddos’ rooms.  If this pique’s your interest and you want to give it a try be sure to use BLUEBERRYHILL to receive a 20% off discount on your order.  Happy Shopping!!
