A Jolly Green Front Door

Just when I thought I wasn’t going to do it again…I did.  You guessed it…I changed our front door color, making this probably the 100th time this year.  (yes, just this year! :-)). It’s such a simple, easy and inexpensive way to add a dash of charm that I just can’t help myself.  This time?  We’re going green!  “John-Deere green” if you ask the little man.  He’s the most attached to it and next month will probably be the most upset when I change it.  Again.  But for now, let’s see our ‘new’ front door shall we?

If you’re looking to tackle a quick DIY, why not give this a try?  I typically buy a small sample sized paint ($3-4 at your local home depot or lowes). 2 coats later and you have your self a whole new look!  Have a great day friends!

Source List:

Front Door Color: Potter’s Shed Lowe’s HGSW1281

House Numbers: Painted on using a template from Jones Design Company

  1. I love the green door and I needed this post! We are remodeling our new home. I just can’t decide on a front door color but this post made me realize it’s not forever and I can change it every month if I would like. Yay!

    1. Oh I’m so glad I’ve inspired you! Yes, I find, the best thing about paint is, it’s simple to change. Enjoy your remodel, and new front door!
