Christmas Shelves in the Dining area

Rummaging around through our Christmas décor this weekend, I came across half a faux Christmas tree.  The bottom half to be exact, and just as I was about to toss it out, I remembered a tip I’d learned from another Blogger (Kelly over at thelilypadcottage.com). She’d cut up a Charlie Brown Christmas tree she scored for pennies and used it in her outdoor planters… genius right?  Since I’ve already filled my planters outdoors (more on that later) I decided to use the faux branches for our open shelving.  All the pretty without the mess? Bingo.

Pssst.  Here’s a little secret… did you notice that the tree is popping in where the farmhouse table used to be?  Yep… things changed around again over here..stay tuned for a full reveal. 🙂
