Kids’ Bathroom Update: Part 1

Funny how blogging forces me to clean and make things organized.  When I was cruising Homegoods this morning I came across the cutest towels that had my favorite color combination of the moment: Burnt orange and teal blue.  New towels? Check. New blog post?  Check. Clean Bathroom?  Well, I’m working on it 😉

Here’s a look back at the bathroom before Rembrandt over here got a hold of it:

Naturally I had some white paint on hand so when it came time to give this bathroom an update, it was an easy (and cheap) color choice.  Then I bought three black hooks from Home Depot and screwed them into a pallet piece for a place to hang towels when the little beans get out of the tub:

Added some paint buckets to store toothbrushes, toothpastes, hand towels etc. to keep everything organized.  I’ll be putting my favorite Sand Dollar towels (Also little gems found at Homegoods) to rest for the season and let these new beauties have a little fun:

The growth chart is another DIY that I’ll share a tutorial on, along with part two of this bathroom update later this week.  Thanks so much for stopping by! (now off to clean the rest of this bathroom! ;-))
